Overall experience of almost 19 years as Legal Counsel, Company Secretary, and Compliance professional involved in providing legal and commercial support to the Senior Management.

In 2018, she was also appointed as a member of the Local Complaints Committee, Gurugram, Haryana. Rachna Sinha Roy is also a member of the task force constituted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for POSH and she is also a member of Anti Sexual Harassment Council, Haryana constituted by WICCI (Women wing of FICCI).

She worked extensively in this domain and has over 12 years of experience in imparting training on POSH as an in-house legal professional and now as an Independent Professional both under Vishakha Guidelines and the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013 and rules.  

Under the guidance of Rachna, CQ has been providing end-to-end compliance services under POSH laws including training, investigation, e-modules, and preparation of documentation. 

In addition to this, she has contributed to talks, lectures, and interactions with leadership teams of various corporates, employees, managers at different levels. She has led complex investigations and advised management at critical stages of investigations.

FOUNDING HISTORY

Counsel Quest (CQ) is a boutique consultancy outfit started by Ms. Rachna Sinha Roy in 2017 and is doing extensive work in the field of anti-sexual harassment laws. Based out of Gurugram, Counsel Quest (CQ) is fully focused in the arena of POSH-related training and compliances and advises major companies (domestic and international) in framing and implementation of The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. 

Rachna Sinha Roy, Our Founder and Lead Counsel, is a law graduate from Delhi University and a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. After 16+ years of working with various corporates in responsible legal positions covering various she founded CQ in 2017.

THE EMPANELLMENT

In 2018, CQ was empanelled with the Ministry of Women & Child Development for imparting trainings under POSH. At CQ, our paramount mission is to enable greater awareness in Corporate India around issues related to Gender Diversity, Prevention of Sexual Harassment. CQ was founded with a vision to create and spread awareness about the need for gender-sensitive workplaces.
